COVID-19 Commercial Cleaning Update
COVID-19 is sadly affecting many people, businesses and a wonderful way of life.
However, at A&R Commercial Cleaning we are committed to continue to provide a high standard of cleaning through this time. We have received a lot of calls, so below are some of them answered for you.
What is your response to COVID-19?
We have been using hospital grade chemicals since the day we started. One of our very first jobs was to clean a Medical Centre, and we have taken that training from over 10 years ago and continued to use these practices on ALL of our jobs, no matter how small or large - no matter if office, retail, commercial, domestic, or industrial.
What Chemicals are you using for our cleaning?
As mentioned above we are using medical grade cleaning chemicals. Because we have been doing this type of cleaning for many years, we are perfectly placed at this time to continue to carry out any cleaning work needed. Some of the chemicals we are using are Viraclean, Kleanzall Lemon (Hospital Grade floor cleaner), Bleach, Domestos Disinfectant hospital grade, and Glen 20. We have emailed all of our clients with an updated product sheet, if you did not received this please let me know and I'll email it to you ASAP.
Are you focusing on high touch areas?
Yes, we are. We have always provided as part of our service, to Glen 20 all door handles, handrails, lift buttons, telephones, desks, and front reception. So we are continuing to carry out this service, and also use a 70% alcohol based cleaner spray on all commonly touched surfaces to follow COVID-19 Protocol. We will focus even more than ever before on making sure that your office, strata, Medical Centre, shed, are thoroughly cleaned and we will continue to carry this out long after this virus has passed. That is our promise to you.
Will this cost me extra?
No, we understand how small business works - as we are one too! We want to do our best to support our clients and to make sure that all of our quotes are the cheapest in the industry. At this time we will carry out extras as mentioned above, to help you have peace of mind.
We want more cleans done at this time, will you help?
We can help you, however - there may not be a need for your office as we may be doing all we can to fight this virus at your business. Please feel free to call me personally and we can talk about your requirements and if they are legitimately needed.
Our business has closed. Should I contact you?
Yes, please let us know that your business is closed so we don’t send our staff out to your building. You can do this by emailing us at [email protected]
We are struggling financially. What help can we get?

If there is a lockdown, will you still come?
At the moment, cleanliness is the best way to fight the virus - therefore at this time cleaners are called “essential business”. Please do not assume that we will not turn up if there is a lockdown, as we will still turn up if you have not contacted us via phone or email.
